Borrowed Time (Styx Cover)

One of my favorite rockers by one of my favorite all time bands. Original in 1979. This is the stuff I grew up on. :D This was also one of the most challenging covers I've done, and took me about 15 days to get it to its current form. Instrumentally, covering such a guitar-centric song with keyboards, and vocally, with Styx's signature three and four part harmonies with super high blends. I lowered the original 5 steps to get into a singable range for my fledgling vocal ability. My "guitar" solo about three minutes in starts and ends like the original, and I just noodled the middle... but it turned out so good, even I have a hard time believing it's not an actual guitar, but a synth. ;)
